Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain has partnered with the McDonald Family to hold the 10th Annual “Play the K” Kirsten McDonald Memorial Charity Golf Tournament at The Beaufort Club on Saturday, April 6th.
Kirsten McDonald was an avid supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs, often volunteering at the Sunshine Lady Club in Morehead City before she unexpectedly passed away in a car accident days before her 21st birthday. Kirsten’s family has spearheaded this tournament, partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs as a way of keeping Kirsten’s vibrant spirit alive.
Over the years, the golf tournament has raised more than $300k for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain in Carteret County. Come join the fun and help the youth of Carteret County! You can support the event in many different ways by registering to play, becoming a sponsor, donating a raffle item, and/or volunteering during the event. Our youth need you, now more than ever!
